Title: Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Tower DesignDepartment: DesignLevel: JMLLocation: GurugramReporting to: Lead – TL DesignROLE DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY)The role holder is accountable for for assisting in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-voltage transmission towers. The role involves working closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in structural engineering and an interest in power transmission infrastructure.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the structural design and analysis of transmission towers using industry-standard software and manual calculations.- Perform load calculations, material selection, and stress analysis to optimize tower performance and cost-effectiveness.- Preparation of sag-tension calculation, loading calculation, clearance diagram & loading tree as per client's specification.- Preparation of foundation designs for transmission line towers.- Support in pre tendering engineering i.e., preliminary design and engineering, working out- bill of quantities and other technical support to commercial team for bid preparation.- Coordinate with site at time of project execution and commissioning.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant field. Master's degree will be preferred.- Minimum 4-7 Years of experience in Tower and Foundation Design.- Hands on experience in PLS Tower / StaadPro
