Every code, every voice, every contribution, every challenge, every success is celebrated here.We welcome candidates who share our values and possess the skills to join our journey in shaping the digital future of finance together.The Technical Documentation Specialist plays a pivotal role in our organization by creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation that effectively communicates complex information to our audience.This position requires a deep understanding of technology, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality documentation.The Technical Documentation Specialist will ensure that our product documentation meets industry standards and supports the needs of our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, release notes, and other product-related materials.Collaborating with subject matter experts, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.Translating technical concepts and specifications into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for various audiences.Organizing and structuring content effectively to facilitate easy navigation and comprehension.Reviewing and editing documentation for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve documentation quality and processes.Participating in the planning and execution of documentation projects, including prioritizing tasks, estimating timelines, and tracking progress.Providing guidance and support to junior members of the documentation team as needed.Requirements include:Familiarity with standard documentation styles and guidelines, such as Microsoft Style Guide and Chicago Manual of Style.Ability to use MS Azure DevOps and Jira task tracking tools.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy for achieving product success and customer satisfaction.Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in technical writing tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar.Strong understanding of documentation best practices, including information architecture, content organization, and writing for different audiences and formats.Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences.Experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with agile documentation practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and documentation publishing tools, such as Confluence, SharePoint.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.7+ years of experience in technical writing or related field, preferably in the software industry.Demonstrated portfolio of technical documentation samples showcasing writing proficiency and ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.Experience working with software development teams and knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.Certification in technical writing or related field, such as Certified Professional Technical Communicator, is a plus.Experience with graphics and multimedia tools for creating visuals and video tutorials is desirable but not required.
