Role: Sr. SalesForce QA Tester

Start date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE)

Shift Coverage: Until 12 p.m. PST

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce QA Tester who has successfully conducted end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills to ensure the highest quality of Salesforce implementations. This role requires hands-on experience with Salesforce testing methodologies, JIRA, and other industry-standard testing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end functional, regression, UAT, and integration testing for Salesforce applications.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure system reliability and functionality.
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, automation, custom objects, Apex triggers, and Lightning components.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using JIRA or other defect management tools.
  • Ensure test coverage across various Salesforce clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ.
  • Perform API testing for integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
  • Utilize testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Provar, or other automation frameworks for efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, Salesforce release management, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, issues, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in Agile environments, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

  • Must have successfully tested Salesforce applications end-to-end across multiple projects.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Salesforce testing with at least two major projects (with references).
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, JIRA, and other testing tools.
  • Strong expertise in manual and automation testing of Salesforce applications.
  • Ability to write SOQL queries to validate backend data integrity.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security models, profiles, roles, and permissions testing.
  • Experience in testing Salesforce Lightning Experience, Classic, and Mobile versions.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce testing best practices, data migration validation, and system integration testing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to articulate test findings, risks, and recommendations clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Testing Provar Certification) are highly preferred.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools for test automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Copado).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies for project collaboration.
