Job Descriptions
- As a Purchasing EXECUTIVE you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and
- managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across
- multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
- Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
- Responsibilities
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Requirements
- Proven working experience as purchasing EXECUTIVE, agent or officer
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Working experience of vendor management software
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
- Pharmaceutical experience on managing Procurement Operations, Purchasing, Vendor Development, ,
- Stock & Inventory Management comprising to achieve Profit oriented objectives and operations of the company.
- Proficient in Material Planning & Management as per the defined time/ cost parameters as well as skills
- in developing procedures for operational excellence.
- A keen planner and implementer with expertise in managing overall operations including material
- sourcing for production, administration activities, strategic planning & development, proper presentation & co-ordination with internal departments.
- Expertise in Developing New Vendors, Cost Savings, minimizing inventories.
- Deft at handling Commercial MIS & Documentation, managing inventory & co-ordinating with dealers,
- contractors & all other service providers.
- An effective communicator and trainer with excellent skill on relationship management and strong
- analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.
- Possess effective communication, interpersonal, analytical & problem solving skills.
