Senior Data Migration SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute data migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.Data Migration Strategy & ExecutionCloud Platform DevelopmentKey responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data migration strategies, assessing existing data landscapes, identifying gaps, and defining migration roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, deep knowledge of data engineering best practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with internal teams and external customer stakeholders.The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in the telecommunications domain. Proven experience with Delta Live Tables in Databricks is mandatory. Strong expertise in Databricks, cloud platforms, and distributed data processing frameworks is also required.Job Requirements:Designing and implementing effective data migration strategies for large-scale data setsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of data migration initiativesDeveloping and maintaining high-quality code using Databricks and other related toolsProviding technical leadership and guidance to junior team membersSkills and Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud platforms and data migrationProven experience with Databricks, Delta Live Tables, and related data processing frameworksStrong understanding of data engineering best practices and methodologiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills
