Senior QA Engineering Director

Our organization is seeking a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer to spearhead the growth and success of our software development team.Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, defining quality standards and best practices, designing and implementing test automation strategies, and establishing and maintaining QA processes across multiple platforms.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the QA team, defining quality standards and best practicesDesign and implement test automation strategies for regression and performance testingEstablish and maintain QA processes across Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), Backend (Elixir/NodeJS), and Infrastructure (Kubernetes)Collaborate with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of developmentDrive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processesManage test environments and coordinate testing activities across platformsCreate and maintain detailed test documentation and reportingMentor junior QA engineers and help grow the QA functionRequirements:MSc/BSc in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience5+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleHands-on experience with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, BrowserStackStrong programming skills in Python and TypeScriptExperience testing Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), and Backend (Elixir/NodeJS)Performance testing experience (JMeter, K6, or similar)Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and database testingExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyExperience working in startups and remote teamsSelf-driven, organized, and proactiveNice to Have:Infrastructure testing experience (Kubernetes, Docker)Mobile automation testing expertiseFamiliarity with monitoring and observability toolsLoad and stress testing experienceKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience with test management toolsUnderstanding of security testing practicesDatabase knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Cloud platform experienceWhy Work With Us?Flexible schedule: Own your calendarCompetitive salary: Based on experienceGrowth opportunities: Help shape QA from the ground upImpact: Work on a platform with 150,000+ usersCollaborative team: Supportive, motivated colleaguesAsynchronous culture: Minimal meetings, maximum focus timePerfect for experienced QA engineers ready for a leadership role, technical leaders passionate about automation & process improvement, and remote work enthusiasts who thrive in startup environments.
