Process Developer/ Management Trainee Procurement

We are inviting applications for the role of Process Developer/ Management Trainee, Procurement
We require someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of handling email inquiries from internal customers, as well as external vendors. Delivering professional, effective, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met. You will be responsible to research and resolve inquiries relating to Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations, Supplier queries and Product Ordering.
Follow up on customer interactions in a timely manner. Communicate with stakeholders to address issues and concerns. Finally, take action on feedback provided.
Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy in specifications and quantities.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in orders and deliveries.
- Update vendor acknowledgments to confirm receipt and acceptance of purchase orders.
- Follow up with vendors on late deliveries, addressing any issues that may arise and ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with other departments to understand procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for budget management and cost control.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations to management.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct inventory analysis to determine purchasing needs.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Relevant experience in Procure to Pay like Supplier Set-up or Procurement Operations
• Excellent Communication Skills - Written and Spoken
• Customer Management Skills
• End to End understanding of Procurement activities to decide what needs to be dealt by Procurement
