**Job Title: UX Designer I**

We are seeking a talented UX Designer I who exhibits user empathy, a strong focus on the bigger picture, and mature design craftsmanship. You will collaborate with fellow designers, product managers, and engineers to craft meaningful and intuitive product experiences that enhance the school environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about problem-solving, highly collaborative, and dedicated to delivering impactful and delightful designs.

**Responsibilities:**

You will work with fellow designers, product managers, and engineers to define and create intuitive and relevant experiences for our users. You’ll conceptualize and design original, user-centered solutions that simplify complex processes within our products, creating design solutions that are clean, engaging, and intuitive for K-12 schools.

You will translate research insights into great product experiences, ensuring that the voice of the user is at the forefront of design decisions. Working in an agile environment, you’ll continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, team input, and project needs, ensuring designs are well-executed and implemented seamlessly across devices and platforms.

You will collaborate across teams, including product, and engineering, to ensure alignment and deliver designs with a high level of impact and user satisfaction. Additionally, you will present and articulate design solutions to multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the shared vision of product development and user-centered design.


**Qualifications:**

- **Required**:

  - 1-3 years of experience in UX, interaction, or visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and problem-solving.

  - Passion for design and a deep understanding of visual and interaction design principles.

  - Strong Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar tools.

  - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

  - Demonstrated ability to synthesize research into impactful design solutions, ensuring user needs are met throughout the product development process.

- **Preferred**:

  - Experience designing for complex digital products or services, preferably in SaaS or EdTech.

  - Experience working in an agile environment, iterating designs based on feedback and delivering within deadlines.

  - Proficiency in creating prototypes that bring ideas to life and test usability.
