Location: BangaloreWe are growing our Front Office Fixed Income Technology team as we build the next generation of in-house analytics and trading platforms. Our team supports global Fixed Income Portfolio Managers across Rates, FX, Credit, and Mortgages, as well as Risk Management and Business Management teams. The systems we build deliver critical functionality, from pre-trade analytics and intraday risk to performance insights and large-scale data aggregation, all on a modern internal application framework.We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Lead to manage a Bangalore-based development team of up to five engineers. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to high-impact trading and analytical tools, and be part of a global, fast-paced, technology-driven environment.What You’ll DoLead a multi-disciplinary development team delivering front-to-back applications with both short- and medium-term objectives.Translate product vision and business requirements into scalable, production-ready systems.Work across functional areas including pre-trade analytics, intraday risk and position management, and historical performance analysis.Remain hands-on in the technical stack, primarily Java and Python backend services.Partner directly with senior Portfolio Managers, Business Managers, and Risk Managers across global locations.What We’re Looking ForExperience leading full-stack engineering teams, ideally within Front Office or fast-paced trading environments.Strong technical leadership with the ability to make critical design and architectural decisions.Deep expertise in Java and Python development.Advocate of strong engineering practices, design, testing, CI/CD, and modern delivery workflows.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.Curious, independent thinker who brings fresh perspectives and a strong sense of ownership.Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing both production responsibilities and project delivery.This role provides exceptional exposure to world-class financial technology, a collaborative global culture, and significant career growth opportunities within a leading financial institution.
