AWS Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure and services.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing AWS infrastructure and services to meet enterprise security, networking, and systems management requirementsWorking closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of AWS servicesProviding technical solutions and consulting with application teams on migration strategiesImplementing enterprise-class security hardening, encryption, and key management solutionsAutomating routine maintenance tasks and implementing infrastructure as code using TerraformIntroducing and integrating new AWS servicesCollaborating with engineering teams to design AWS reference architectures and functional design specificationsProviding integration support and advanced troubleshooting for development and production environmentsRequired skills and qualifications include:QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 6-10+ years of experience working on AWS cloud technologiesProficiency with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Glacier, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Route 53, and moreHands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as codeStrong knowledge of security hardening and encryption key managementExperience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for cross-account deploymentsProficiency in Python or other high-level programming languagesExpertise in microservice Engineering and container orchestration platformsDeep knowledge of configuration management, network connectivity, and deployment automation tools on AWSExperience with AWS EKS Control Tower, Multi-Account Management, and NetworkingExperience with Audit, GitHub Actions, Code Scanning, and compliance-related AWS servicesProficiency in DataDog for monitoring and observabilityCertifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Engineer – Professional or equivalentPreferred QualificationsExperience with the Serverless Framework for building and deploying serverless applicationsExperience with Lambda for automation and custom functionalityFamiliarity with disaster recovery and high-availability configurations using AWS Route 53Working knowledge of SES, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and other AWS servicesExposure to design reviews for introducing new technologiesDeep understanding of AWS security aspects and best practicesThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of our organization.
