Job Title: Quality Assurance ExpertWe are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Expert with expertise in test automation and a strong background in software development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in CI/CD environments and designing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute automated tests for our internal systems, covering backend (APIs) and frontend components.Automate functional tests for REST APIs using Postman/Newman and end-to-end tests for frontend components using Cypress or Selenium.Document and track test cases, bugs, and QA activities in ClickUp, leveraging its integration with GitLab for traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.Execute regression, smoke, and exploratory tests manually as needed to validate system functionality and uncover issues beyond scripted scenarios.Create clear QA reports based on manual and automated test results, providing actionable insights to help teams track and improve quality over time.Collaborate closely with developers to define acceptance criteria and continuously improve QA processes.Requirements:3-4 years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on test automation and QA best practices.Experience in the financial sector or a solid understanding of indexing, financial instruments, or market data.Hands-on experience writing and executing automated tests within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with Postman for API testing, including environment configurations and collection scripting.Familiarity with ClickUp as a tool for managing QA documentation, test cases, and defect tracking.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in designing reusable test plans, test suites, and cases.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Nice-to-have Skills:Familiarity with Cypress Dashboard, GitLab Pages, or other tools for automated test reporting and visualization.Experience with performance or load testing tools.Comfort working with large datasets and validating data accuracy across systems.Experience in fintech, stock exchanges, investment firms, or financial data providers.Ability to verify financial index calculations.
