Senior Backend Developer Job OpportunityJob Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves designing and building critical backend systems for our global infrastructure.This position is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you will shape the core product that powers all user-facing flows.Key Responsibilities: Backend Architecture & Microservices: Develop scalable APIs for hotels, flights, bookings, payments, and user systems using Java 11+Design domain models, state machines, queues, caching layers, and workflowsImplement idempotency, retries, consistency guarantees, and fault tolerance Search, Pricing & Booking Flows: Build low-latency services for search, filtering, availability, and pricingIntegrate with internal pricing engines and caching systemsWork on booking flows requiring transactional correctness and reliability Integrations: Integrate with external travel suppliers, hotel partners, GDS/NDC APIsHandle API authentication, rate limits, SLA constraints, and failover logic Performance, Reliability & Observability: Optimize APIs for high throughput and sub-200ms latenciesWork with logs, metrics, dashboards, and distributed tracing Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must have: Experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/HibernateStrong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectivelyWhat We Offer:As a Senior Backend Developer at our company, you can expect: A competitive salary and benefits packageOngoing training and development opportunitiesA collaborative and dynamic work environmentThe chance to work on challenging projects and make a meaningful impact
