About the Role:As a seasoned systems engineer, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing and optimizing a global 24/7 production infrastructure. This entails ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across multi-site environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving automation and performance enhancements.Establish productive relationships with stakeholders across the organization to foster cooperation between product, engineering, and operations teams.Manage an international 24/7, multi-site production infrastructure powering critical services, including deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security.Identify and resolve complex problems involving multiple stakeholders, networks, hardware, and software related to scaling and performance.Evaluate and ensure proper monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reporting in the production environment.Contribute to the evolving design and architecture of robust and scalable infrastructure.Serve as first line of defense during working hours for any alerts or incidents that arise.Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure operational standards are upheld, assess resource impacts for upcoming product deployments, and ensure successful product rollouts.Participate in an on-call rotation and be prepared to address escalated issues as needed.
