Job DescriptionThe role of the Principal Programmer is to provide expert programming support to various projects and clients across different therapeutic areas.Manipulate large databases and generate reports to facilitate analysts in exploring real-world healthcare data assets.Implement complex logic using SAS, SQL, and R programming.Create complex analysis data sets derived from diverse data sources with a keen eye for outliers and errors.Build patient cohorts and evaluate patient healthcare events in large databases using observational research methods such as epidemiology and statistical analysis.Required Skills and QualificationsProficient in R and SQL programming.Expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron, COTA.Has good understanding of Oncology-specific analyses such as Line of Therapy algorithms, Survival analysis, and various statistical models.Key ResponsibilitiesLead internal and client study team meetings effectively.Present study updates internally and at client meetings.Share scientific, technical, and practical knowledge within the team and with colleagues.
