Accounts Payable AssociateWe are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Associate to join our team.As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will assist the accounts payable team with complex tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Your primary responsibilities will include:Processing invoice administration and set up for payment.Preparing and processing accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and payments.Answering all vendor inquiries and reconciling vendor statements.In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to:Prepare analysis of accounts.Resolve invoice discrepancies.Conduct root cause analysis of accounts payable processing errors and suggest process improvements.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent and at least 4-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field. They should also possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and sound knowledge of MS-Office software.Benefits:• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable processes• Hands-on experience with invoice processing, payments, and reconciliation, month end close, and supplier query management• Proven expertise in month-end close and transitioning AP processes is desired• Experience working within ERP platforms Oracle, STARS, Basware (preferred)• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills• Sound knowledge of MS-Office software
