With 10M+ learners and 300+ global university partners, upGrad helps working professionals build better careers.Role Overview:The Academic Counsellor guides learners, understands their career goals, recommends suitable programs, and supports them throughout the admission process. This is a counselling-centric, revenue-driving role based in a physical learning centre.Note: You will be located/seated at Bharathidasan University for student counselling and admission coordination. You will handle student walk-ins and guide them with counselling for upGrad learning programs.Key Responsibilities:Counsel potential learners via calls, centre walk-ins, and video sessions.Understand learner needs and recommend relevant upGrad programs.Convert leads to admissions and achieve monthly enrolment targets.Manage the complete sales cycle — enquiry, counselling, enrolment, and post-sales support.Maintain accurate CRM records and track daily/weekly performance metrics.Coordinate with centre and university teams to ensure a seamless learner experience.Requirements:Graduate with 1–2 years of B2C or consultative sales experience (EdTech preferred).Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work towards targets and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
