Cloud Security Architect Job DescriptionVertex Agility seeks a seasoned Cloud Security Architect to develop scalable identity platforms, automate end-to-end workflows, and drive enterprise-grade security engineering.Design and deploy Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.Build identity integrations using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and SCIM protocols.Automate workflows using Okta Workflows and other tools.Develop services in Java, Python, TypeScript, and OCaml programming languages.Create and secure RESTful APIs using OpenAPI and SCIM standards, along with Terraform automation.Enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, and GoCD.Contribute to the development of global IAM foundations, including governance, access management, directory services, PKI, and SIA.Requirements:Expert-level knowledge of Okta and its integration capabilities.Strong engineering skills in Java, Python, TypeScript, OCaml, and React programming languages.Deep experience in IAM and SAML/OIDC/SCIM integration.Strong Terraform and automation mindset.AWS experience is highly desirable.API-first thinking with solid unit/integration testing practices.Bonus skills include PingFederate, ForgeRock, and serverless integrations.
