**Job Title:** Design ManagerRole Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our design output, ensuring that designs meet client expectations and are delivered within stipulated timelines.Key Responsibilities:Manage the planning of layouts and concept designing of interior fit-outs for commercial and residential spaces.Lead a team of interior designers and 3D visualizers to deliver drawings and designs as per client requirements and budget.Understand client requirements, engage with clients, and handle projects from start to end, coordinating with internal procurement teams and site execution teams for smooth project functioning.Select material finishes to be used/applied and obtain client approval.Make various schedules for projects, including furniture, general lighting, decorative lighting fixtures, carpets, etc.Coordinate with graphic designers for creation of wallpaper designs and other graphic design elements as per client requirements and feedback.Have knowledge of working drawings/technical drawings and coordinate same at site for execution.Requirements:4+ years in designing corporate and residential spaces, with knowledge of interior elements and building structure.Strong design sense and well-versed with design codes followed in different states of USA.Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.Track record of delivering outstanding high-quality design, leading teams on high-profile projects.Excellent interpersonal skills, strong persuasive communication, and excellent verbal presentation skills to communicate design concepts to clients.Process-oriented, ambitious out-of-the-box approach with ability to motivate team members.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Comprehensive and extensive knowledge of materials, costing, GFC details.Understanding of client engagement and technical drawings.Multi-tasking ability.Preferred Skills:Drafting skills - proficient in Autocad.Quantity assessment - proficient in MS Excel.Photoshop, Sketchup, or 3DS-Max.Design conceptualization writing.Project pitch presentations.Desirable Qualities:Attention to detail.Team management.
