We are scaling fast and need a sharp, hungry finance operator who can own cashflow, collections, billing discipline, vendor payments, and monthly close with high accuracy and pace.This role is for someone who wants to grow into Finance Manager / Finance Lead in 2–3 years.High growth, high ownership, and high expectations.Role OverviewYou will run the day-to-day finance engine of edumerge. You will work directly with the CEO and support the GTM and Customer teams with strong financial discipline.This is not a back-office role. It is a control tower role.Key Responsibilities1. Cashflow & ForecastingMaintain daily cash positionUpdate the 6-week rolling cashflow forecast every MondayFlag risks on salaries, vendor payouts, and inflowsMaintain visibility on weekly and monthly variances2. Billing & InvoicingEnsure all invoices are raised on timeMaintain billing calendar for renewals and new go-livesEnsure accuracy in Zoho Billing / subscription systemTrack overdue invoices and escalate early3. CollectionsRun weekly collections cadence with GTMMaintain collections tracker (customer-wise, POD-wise)Push follow-ups, capture updates, escalate high-risk accountsReduce ageing and drive predictable inflows4. Vendor Payments & Expense ControlMaintain vendor payment calendarTrack due dates and plan payouts as per cashflowEnsure adherence to budgets and prevent leakageVerify all claims before processing5. Monthly Close & MISMaintain the monthly close fileUpdate expense detail sheetSummarise COGS, P&E, S&M, G&AReconcile books, bank statements, vendor summariesSupport MIS and reporting6. Process DisciplineEnsure adherence to travel policy, reimbursement normsMaintain audit-ready documentationImprove finance workflows continuously7.
