Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team. This role involves leading data-driven research and policy analysis projects, working with large-scale datasets, and translating evidence into policy recommendations.Lead research and policy analysis projects, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.Work with extensive datasets, including administrative, labour, GST, satellite, and survey data, to identify trends and patterns.Develop policy briefs, reports, and other outputs that effectively communicate research findings to various stakeholders.QualificationsA Master's or PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is essential. Strong training in econometrics, statistics, and programming (Stata, R, or Python) is necessary. At least 2 years of experience in empirical research, data analysis, and publication is expected for the Research Associate position. For Senior Research Associate, at least 3 years of experience is required.Bonus Qualifications:Experience in designing and implementing survey methodologies, as well as collecting field data, would be beneficial.Applicants with expertise in advanced econometric and statistical methods, such as DiD, IV, PSM, and panel data models, will be highly valued.Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
