Key Responsibilities:New Product DevelopmentLead the development and optimization of WTG replacement components.Prototype and test new products to enhance turbine performance and efficiency.
Research & InnovationConduct feasibility studies and research new materials and technologies.Keep updated on industry trends and innovations in wind turbine components.
Project ManagementPlan and manage R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, and operations.
Collaboration & Vendor EngagementCoordinate with suppliers and external partners to integrate new technologies.Ensure seamless transition from product development to production.
Compliance & DocumentationEnsure products meet local and international safety and quality standards.Develop technical documentation and reports to support regulatory compliance.
Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D team.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
What We’re Looking For:Education:Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Experience:✔️ 8+ years of experience in R&D, preferably in the wind energy sector.✔️ Hands-on experience with WTG components and product development.
Skills:⚙️ Strong knowledge of turbine components, CAD tools, and simulation software.⚙️ Expertise in project management with experience in Agile methodologies.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Leadership ability to manage and grow a technical team.
Preferred:- Experience working with renewable energy technology providers.- Familiarity with ISO, IEC, and other industry standards.- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
