Job Summary: As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.2. Execute automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance.3. Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.5. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.6. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices.7. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.8. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jest) is a plus.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is a plus.
