Senior Automation QA Engineer Job OpportunityOverview of the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks using TestComplete (Web, Desktop, and Mobile). You will also develop robust, reusable test scripts using JavaScript, VBScript, or Python within TestComplete.You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand application logic and ensure optimal automation coverage. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of existing automated test scripts currently under development and continuing to enhance them going forward. You will integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will utilize cloud-based testing platforms for cross-browser and cross-device validation. You will apply shift-left testing principles to identify defects early in the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will maintain comprehensive documentation of automation design, test cases, and execution results.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and enhance automation frameworks using TestComplete.Develop robust, reusable test scripts using JavaScript, VBScript, or Python within TestComplete.Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure optimal automation coverage.Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.Utilize cloud-based testing platforms for cross-browser and cross-device validation.Apply shift-left testing principles to identify defects early in the development lifecycle.Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation design, test cases, and execution results.RequirementsMinimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in TestComplete.At least 5 years of total experience in test automation.Proficiency in JavaScript, VBScript, or Python for scripting automated tests.Strong background in designing modular, data-driven, and keyword-driven frameworks.Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.Experience with API testing using tools such as ReadyAPI or Postman (preferred).Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave.Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
