RPA Engineer Role OverviewAutomation professionals play a key role in streamlining operations through the design and deployment of automated processes.We are seeking an experienced RPA Automation Professional to join our distributed team, primarily based in India, to develop and maintain robust automation processes.The Challenge:Data → Web: Map structured JSON payloads onto hundreds of unique web forms with varying layouts, validation rules, and anti-bot measures.Reliability: Ensure consistent, successful data submissions 24×7 with robust monitoring, retry mechanisms, and auditable logging.Continuous Change: New websites and forms are onboarded regularly, and existing sites frequently change their structures or security measures. Your automations must adapt and scale efficiently within Azure microservices.RPA Automation ResponsibilitiesDevelop & Extend Automations: Design, develop, and deploy resilient RPA bots capable of processing structured JSON inputs and automating web form interactions.Operate & Monitor: Implement robust monitoring systems, alerts, and automated self-healing. Maintain operational dashboards using tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.Administer & Maintain: Regularly update automation scripts to accommodate changes in website structures, manage secure credentials through Azure Key Vault, and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.Quality & Compliance: Write comprehensive unit and functional tests, perform code reviews, ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, and participate in threat modelling exercises.Collaborate & Document: Work closely with Product, Backend, and DevOps teams to document automation logic, common issues, and support runbooks.Key Requirements3+ years professional RPA development experience with demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end solutions.Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; hands-on experience with Node.js and Next.js frameworks.Proven production experience within Microsoft Azure environments (Azure Functions, Container Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, Application Insights).In-depth knowledge of web-form automation: DOM manipulation, CAPTCHA handling, session management, and dynamic form validation.Experience in implementing observability tools (structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing).Demonstrated ability to maintain and optimise automations at scale, including managing concurrent executions and deployment strategies.Excellent communication skills in English, capable of drafting clear documentation and interacting effectively with international teams.Automator Nice to Have SkillsFamiliarity with Python for scripting and quick data transformations.Experience working within regulated industries (finance, insurance, real estate, etc.).Exposure to container orchestration technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service or Docker Swarm.
