Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer with 2+ years of experience to take the lead in designing and managing AI hackathons while also contributing to the development and integration of advanced AI solutions within the MachineHack platform. This role demands a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hackathon Management:
  • Conceptualize and execute innovative AI hackathons, ensuring they remain engaging and impactful.
  • Partner with industry leaders and academic institutions to design challenges aligned with real-world AI applications.
  • Handle all logistical aspects of hackathon events, including participant onboarding, platform setup, and coordination with judges and mentors.
  • Engage with sponsors to enhance the reach and impact of events.
  • AI Development:
  • Actively develop and deploy AI models to improve the MachineHack platform’s capabilities.
  • Research and incorporate the latest AI advancements to keep MachineHack at the forefront of the industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable AI solutions that enhance the user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Gather and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine the hackathon and platform experience.
  • Stay updated on AI and machine learning trends, identifying opportunities to incorporate them into MachineHack’s ecosystem.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of AI technologies and their applications.
  • Proven experience with AI hackathons, either as a participant, organizer, or both.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.


Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in AI product development or research.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and deployment techniques.
  • Prior experience in leading technical events or competitions.
