The role involves supporting product development teams to ensure compliance across the lifecycle, coordinating with notified bodies, and maintaining certification documentation. Candidates should have a strong engineering foundation and be comfortable working in cross-functional environments. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport ATEX-related compliance activities for products used in potentially explosive atmospheresCollaborate with design and product teams to ensure compliance with EMC/EMI, UL, LV, CE, and EU Machinery DirectiveCoordinate certification processes: sample submission, documentation, and liaison with notified bodiesAssist in technical design reviews and recommend changes for regulatory complianceMaintain compliance documentation including manuals and datasheetsMonitor regulatory changes and assess impact on productsParticipate in internal and external auditsConduct basic risk and ignition hazard assessments for electrical/mechanical products/hazard analysis as needed KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Understanding of ATEX, EMC, UL, Low Voltage, and Machinery Directive standardsBackground in mechanical or electrical engineeringAbility to manage tasks and timelines across teamsFamiliarity with CE Marking and global conformity standards (IEC, EN, UL, ISO)Good problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with technical documentation and compliance reporting EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.8-10 years of experience in product safety, compliance, and regulatory certification.Demonstrated experience managing certification projects and collaborating across technical teams.
