Job Role: AWS Devops Engineer

Location: Chennai only

Notice period: Immediate joiners or currently serving notice less than 30 days

  • 5-7 years of functional & technical expertise in building & managing CI/CD Pipeline using gitlab and github modern technologies and methodologies using AWS.
  • Strong Experience in Unix and Linux (Amazon Linux and Redhat)
  • Strong experience setting up and deploying CI/CD pipelines and integration with 3rd party tools such as Bit Bucket, Jira, Gitlab, Jenkins, Github, etc.
  • Have a solid AWS experience in ECS, ECR, Docker, Gitlab , Github & Terraform.
  • Requires strong DevOps experience with Terraform, GIT, AWS CLI, BASH.
  • Experience in building micro services using JAVA, Maven, Spring boot or Node JS and its related technologies.
  • Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and hosting them in cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience in recording logs related to behaviour of Docker App, monitor performance using relevant monitoring tools.
  • Recent experience with AWS CLI including S3, EC2, ASG, ELB, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.
  • Requires expertise in java API Application Server and Nginx Web Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of security design for enterprise software systems & AWS infra.
  • A working knowledge of the concepts for DevSecOps, ITIL foundations for change management and compliance.
  • Builds and maintains tools for deployment, monitoring and operations as well as troubleshoots and resolves issues.
  • Assists with the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and mentor’s teams to assist with improving their processes.
  • To interact with business/product teams to understand business requirements, identify all its dependencies and to create a functional requirement document for defining implementation process.
  • To interact with front-end developers, designers, and cross functional team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
  • To coordinate with external team for tracking scheduled tasks for its completion and status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot microservices in production to ensure high availability and performance
  • Should have knowledge in regulatory and data security requirements in financial domain.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Should be up to date with new technology trends in finance space.
  • AWS Devops Certification is mandatory.
