We also often host international retreats and Vedic pilgrimage tours of India, with other teachings and conferences hosted in the United States, Canada, England, Denmark, and the Netherlands.Administrative, management, logistics, and organizational staff and systems are majorly lacking, which is what your work will be composed of, first in an administrative & client management context and later in an operations/project management context.The position will begin with a 3 month internship period where you will work both together with and alongside several other interns, Vidya's directors, and potentially certain faculty members, in order to gain an understanding of the nature and needs of the organization, as you work to establish and improve systems, maintain existing client satisfaction, email management, executive assistance, and customer support operations to the exceptional 5-star hotel level standard we've maintained so far, with a small high dedication international client base.Upon completion of the internship, a few candidates will be selected for the long-term administrative position.You must enjoy rigorous, high-detail work, whether that be in a numerical or quality control senseEvery aspect of this job requires catching small and large detail errors alike, with you alone acting as the final stop to prevent client-side & partner-side anomalies in experience.An astute observation and capacity to independently organize, problem solve, and implement will be rewarded in both the short and long-term.Those who are scattered, disorganized, or unfocused should absolutely not apply for this position.We have a small, very high lifetime value, and very demanding clientele. Everything we do in our industry is at the absolute highest level of quality, including our designs, advertising, customer service, and user experience. There is very little room for error;you must be smart, detail-oriented, hardworking, and thoughtful.The software you will work with on a daily or weekly basis include:- Mailchimp- Google Drive- Google Docs- Excel- Wordpress- Zapier- Samcart- Calendly- Figma- Gmail- And much moreExperience with these is highly welcome, yet not required. You will need to get comfortable with these softwares very quickly in order to make it beyond the internship position.Travel to Thailand, Cambodia, India, & Europe for 1-2 month stints will occasionally be requested of long-term candidates who remain in the organization;however, these international projects are optional and for the most part only asked of staff with us for at least 5 years.Candidates based in India (or the ASEAN Region) with strong, reliable, and completely consistent internet access are preferred, other regions are still welcome to apply, so long as the salary is deemed regionally adequate and close to the median for similar roles.Internet connectivity issues will not be tolerated at all whatsoever.***Salary & Compensation Details***The remote internship period is 3 months beginning in January, 2026.Intern Salary is $300 per month full time. Somewhat flexible working hours.After the internship period is over we will together decide if you are a good long term fit for the demands of this position.Passing interns will be promoted to either Executive-Client Assistant or Head Administrator based on demonstrated detail orientation and performance during the internship period.Executive-Client Assistants year 1 pay is $350.00USD per month and Head Administrator year 1 pay is $400.00USD per month.Up to 50% of additional bonus salary can be earned through annual New Years bonuses and other avenues of recognition of exceptional performance.Executive-Client Assistants get a $100.00 annual raise during every year of work at Vidya.Head Administrators & Operations Managers receive a $150.00 annual raise.After 5 years working with us, healthcare and life insurance coverage, education options, and family support coverage will kick in, in addition to several fiscal and non-fiscal performance and loyalty bonuses.Promotions are earned with hard work, incredible attention to detail, and self starting improvement oriented work. If you do things to solve existing problems, improve efficiency, and/or to drive long term goals/projects/efforts forward, you can expect recognition for that.***Initial Job Responsibilities***You will be performing a wide range of professional tasks, with immediate rigorous responsibilities.
