Role Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who is highly proficient in building performant and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision, is a problem solver, is self-driven, and is adaptable to the fast-paced environment of a startup. As part of our lean tech team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence technical decisions, and contribute directly to our growth. Your ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions will be key to our success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 1-5 years in Full-Stack Development, particularly with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in developing and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on mentoring and guiding junior developers.
- Understanding of ESG principles and sustainability concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Flutter & Firebase is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
- Collaborate with teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our tech stack.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
