Job Title: Quality Assurance SpecialistThis role involves collaborating with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure that our software products meet the highest quality standards.Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript, executing automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements, developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test data, performing code reviews and providing feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Key responsibilities include analyzing test results and providing detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation, and ensuring seamless integration of automated tests into the build process.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript is essential.A strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems like Git, and other testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Jest are highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are necessary for success in this role.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is also an asset.
