In this role, you will lead complex hydrological projects, conduct advanced analyses, and provide expert guidance on water resource management initiatives.Develop and implement sophisticated hydrological models to assess water resources and flood risksLead and manage multidisciplinary teams on large-scale water resource projectsConduct detailed hydrological analyses and interpret complex data setsPrepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydrological considerations into broader engineering projectsStay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in the field of hydrologyMentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the teamEnsure compliance with local and international water regulations and policiesParticipate in business development activities and proposal writing QualificationsMaster's degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related fieldMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in hydrology or water resources engineeringAdvanced knowledge of hydrological modeling software such as HEC-HMS and SWMMProficiency in GIS software, including ArcGIS or QGISStrong data analysis and statistical skillsExcellent technical writing and report preparation abilitiesProgramming skills in languages such as Python or RDemonstrated experience in flood risk assessment and managementProject management experience, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teamsIn-depth understanding of hydrological processes and water resource managementKnowledge of local and international water regulations and policiesProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to travel to project sites as needed
