Automation Testing Specialist

Job OverviewSenior QA engineers collaborate closely with developers, participating in daily stand-ups, demos, and planning sessions. A minimum of 6 years of experience and 3 years in automation testing are required, including setting up the framework, creating new scripts, and updating existing tests.Key Responsibilities include:Defining test specifications, suites, and cases using Jira software.Utilizing automated tools across various test stages.Understanding of test approaches for End-2-End (UI), APIs, Integration, and Non-functional aspects of the system.Testing both frontend and backend systems.Production of test evidence, testing reports, and associated artefacts to support quality.Suggesting improvements/techniques to the product and overall development and testing process.Required Skills and Qualifications:Excellent English communication skill for daily interaction with clients.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Cypress with TypeScript to validate UI and API functionality.Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.Understanding of databases and test data creation.Hands-on Experience of a wide range of test tools such as Postman, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins.Continues improvement approach to all test activities.Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Kibana and ELK.What We Are Looking ForWe seek motivated individuals who possess a passion for automation testing and software quality assurance.
