This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in PowerScale/ Isilon.Key Responsibilities:Cluster Administration: Ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of PowerScale clusters across multi-protocol environments (NFS/SMB/HDFS/S3).Data Management: Develop expertise in SyncIQ, including migrations, multi-directional replication, delta transfers, and multi-protocol syncing. Additionally, work with snapshots and SnapshotIQ for data backup and recovery purposes.Network Configuration: Configure and validate network connectivity, including VLANs, LACP, MTU, routing, DNS, and NTP settings.Security and Integration: Collaborate with security teams to establish firewall rules and handle AD integrations across multi-domain/forest setups, including trusts, ID mapping, and authentication troubleshooting.HDFS Workload Optimization: Enhance PowerScale for HDFS workloads (Hive, Impala, Empower) when necessary.ITIL Processes: Adhere to ITIL procedures for change, incident, and problem management, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process.To succeed in this position, candidates should possess a deep understanding of PowerScale/Isilon technology and have experience working with multi-protocol environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.
