**Job Title:** Senior Data Architect As a seasoned data professional, you will play a pivotal role in architecting the buildout of simplified, integrated, and compliant technology stacks. With expertise in both consulting and products, our team can help clients save time and money as they move from strategic clinical & quality management to widespread commercialisation. You will lead solution design and delivery execution for data, analytics, and AI programs across clinical, commercial, and medical affairs domains. Your strong leadership skills will guide engineering teams and ensure high-quality, compliant delivery for pharma clients. Key responsibilities include designing end-to-end data platform architectures, building scalable solutions on leading cloud platforms using best-practice patterns, creating data models and integrating pharma datasets (EDC, CTMS, IRT, CRM, 3PL, claims, hub, dispense, etc.), producing solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps. Other key tasks include leading technical delivery across multiple engagements, conducting design reviews, guiding development teams, and ensuring solution quality. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to data governance, security, and compliance, overseeing operational support activities, driving automation where possible, and resolving data management and analytics-related issues. **Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience10+ years in data engineering, architecture, or delivery leadership rolesAt least 5 years of experience working in the Biotech/Pharma Industry supporting Clinical/Commercial business units to meet their Data and Reporting needsHands-on experience with leading cloud platforms & services including AWS and AzureExpertise in data lake/Lakehouse architectures and modern ELT patternsStrong SQL, Python, Spark, and data modeling skillsExperience integrating pharma datasets & systemsExperience/good understanding of BI & reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, SpotfireUnderstanding of regulated data environmentsProven experience leading multi-phase or multi-team deliveryExcellent communication and client-facing leadership **Good-to-Have Skills:Experience with GenAI, ML pipelines, RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector DBsMaster Data Management (MDM) experienceCloud/Data certificationsCI/CD, Terraform, containerization (Docker/K8S)Deep understanding of specific business processes within the pharma value chainExperience in designing and managing APIs for data ingestion and consumption
