Big Data SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, ETL frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms.This role requires designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue, building and optimizing data models in Snowflake to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning workloads, automating data ingestion from various sources including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms, ensuring high data quality and implementing data validation and monitoring processes, collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions, and participating in code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging of data workflows.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and AWS GlueBuild and optimize data models in Snowflake to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning workloadsAutomate data ingestion from various sources including APIs, databases, and third-party platformsEnsure high data quality and implement data validation and monitoring processesCollaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutionsRequirements:Strong experience in data modeling, ETL frameworks, and cloud-based data platformsDeep understanding of data engineering concepts and practicesProficiency in PySpark, AWS Glue, and SnowflakeAbility to automate data ingestion from various sourcesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
