Financial Operations SpecialistWe're seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to support our financial operations, manage reconciliations, and handle complex accounting matters.About the Role:Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooksOversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, including preparing and scheduling paymentsHandle reconciliation of bank, credit card, and payment accountsManage edge cases and exceptions not covered by automated systemsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsSupport tax compliance (GST/HST, payroll remittances, year-end filing)Maintain accurate classification of transactions and general ledger recordsIdentify and suggest improvements to financial workflows and automation logicRequirements:Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (mandatory)Experience with payments, billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial trackingComfortable with technology and working in an automated environmentAbility to troubleshoot accounting discrepancies and handle non-standard casesKnowledge of tax processes preferredFamiliarity with U.S. tax is an assetExtremely detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent communication and ability to work independentlyPrior bookkeeping or accounting experience (small business/startup experience is a plus)
