Mainframe Automation EngineerWe are seeking experienced IBM System Automation Engineer to manage Mainframe Infrastructure and operations for one of the largest Bank presents in the Nordic region running the largest SysPlex, using IBM System Automation (SA). Banks’s primary design goals are service availability, efficiency and resilience, underpinned by the architectural principle of cloned infrastructure, system configurations and applications.Job Responsibilities -Installation, Configuration, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of IBM System Automation and Net-ViewManage enhanced Automation solution for IWS-SA integration, SDF customization and ParametersManage the started task (STC) management and cater customized automation requirement with codingBuilding and Manipulating New Policies as per customer needsCustomization of Service Periods, Events, Triggers and Pacing GatesTroubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrenceProvide 24x7 on-call supportRequired Skillsets - 8+ years of strong experience managing IBM System Automation (IBM SA) and Net-view including monitoring, policy setup, and maintenance6+ years of REXX coding and Net-View PIPE programmingStrong proficiency in CLIST programmingSolid understanding of IPL shutdown/startup sequencingStrong Knowledge on enhanced Automation solution for IWS-SA integrationGood Knowledge on Integrated SMU with Omegamon and SA/Net-view SDFExpertise with customization - Defining Service Periods, Events, Triggers and Pacing GatesBasic knowledge of GDPS/PPRC – MTMMHas the ability to work independently and to collaborate and communicate with other mainframe engineersHave a structured and organized approach and able to document decisions, solutions and proceduresAct as subject matter experts in the mainframe automation areaA high level of personal initiative is a must to help us improve and optimize the solutionsAdded Advantage - Any other Programming skillsOther information-Preferred Location- Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune
