Senior InfoBasic Developer for T24 CustomizationsThe ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of InfoBasic and jBASE, with significant experience in developing custom solutions for the T24 platform.Key Responsibilities:Enforce coding standards, naming conventions, and industry best practices for InfoBasic programs and T24 routines to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability of core banking customizations.Perform comprehensive peer reviews to enhance the quality, performance, and maintainability of core banking customizations.Review subroutines, batch jobs, and local developments for correctness, robustness, and error handling.Validate file operations to ensure proper locking, retry logic, and data integrity.Check compatibility and correctness of functions, statements, and syntax across T24 release versions.Optimize complex database queries, analyzing performance impact based on table and dataset volumes.Assess performance implications of developed solutions and recommend improvements.Ensure logging, data validation, archival mechanisms, and exception handling for financial transactions and interfaces.Verify unit and functional tests to minimize regression risk before deployment.Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of coding guidelines.Align with T24 standards and internal development policies.Apply core banking and basic accounting knowledge during code review.Understand T24 core routines and identify opportunities for performance enhancement.Requirements:At least 7 years of strong experience in InfoBasic, jBASE, and T24 local development.Solid understanding of T24 functionalities, core banking processes, and common tables.Hands-on experience with Git or similar version control systems and modern code review workflows.Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, QA teams, and release management.Experience with OpenShift is an added advantage.Why This Role?This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your technical skills, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
