We are seeking a seasoned HPC Infrastructure Lead to spearhead and oversee our High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Azure cloud platforms, Linux systems, large-scale storage solutions, and semiconductor Chip design EDA workloads.About the RoleThis is a key position that requires strategic leadership and technical prowess to drive HPC infrastructure development and deployment.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, expansion, and operation of HPC infrastructure supporting semiconductor Chip design and development workloads.The role also involves managing on-premises and cloud-based HPC environments, with a focus on optimizing performance and efficiency.Architecting and optimizing storage systems for high throughput and low latency needs is another critical aspect of this role.The HPC Infrastructure Lead will also be responsible for planning and executing Datacenter build and expansion projects, as well as collaborating with 3rd party Colo Datacenter service providers.In addition, the incumbent will oversee job schedulers and workload managers to ensure efficient resource utilization, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and develop policies for job scheduling, quota, and resource allocation.Maintaining system security, license management, and compliance with industry standards are also essential responsibilities of this role.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Implement HPC Infrastructure: Develop and deploy scalable and high-performance HPC infrastructure to support semiconductor Chip design and development workloads.Manage HPC Environments: Oversee on-premises and cloud-based HPC environments, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Storage System Optimization: Architect and optimize storage systems for high throughput and low latency needs.Datacenter Build and Expansion: Plan and execute Datacenter build and expansion projects.Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with 3rd party Colo Datacenter service providers and CAD/EDA tool users to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and resolve issues.Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce policies for job scheduling, quota, and resource allocation.System Security and Compliance: Maintain system security, license management, and compliance with industry standards.
