Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Accountant with 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and a proven track record in financial statement preparation, month-end closing, and compliance. This role requires a solid foundation in NACAS Accounting Standards and IND AS, as well as a strong grasp of GST regulations.

Industry Background: D2C / Ecommerce / Retail / Manufacturing 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with NACAS Accounting Standards and IND AS.
• Month-End Closure: Manage the entire month-end book closure process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
• Revenue and Expense Management: Conduct a thorough review of expenses to ensure proper classification, recognition and TDS compliances. Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with accounting standards.
• GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
• Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and explanations.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare various financial reports MIS for management, highlighting key trends and providing insightful analysis on financial performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and accounting operations.
• Internal Control and Compliance: Assist in designing and implementing the SOP's across the company to ensure compliance and control
• Technology tools and ERP implementation: Opportunity to implement ERP, EMS and Other tech tools to improve the employee productivity

Qualifications and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
• Proven expertise in the preparation of financial statements and the month-end closing process.
• Experienced in Team management
• In-depth knowledge of NACAS Accounting Standards and IND AS is essential.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GST compliances and return filings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Further, experience in implementation of ERP (Tally, SAP etc.) will provide and additional impact 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
