Job Purpose -

Electrical Engineer with expertise in Design & Detail Engineering, Proposal & Estimation of Electrical

Systems, Equipment's and Power Wiring & Cabling, Instrumentation Wiring & Cabling.

Educational Qualifications- BE / Diploma Electrical

Experience - 12-16 yrs


Responsibilities

1. Preparation of Material requisition / technical specification / Design basis of various electrical equipment like Electric Heat Tracing, HV, MV switchboard, transformers, Motors, VFD, Cables etc.

2. Electrical calculations including Load List, lighting Design Calculations, Power Cable sizing, Tray Loading, Earthing calculations, lightning protection calculations).

3. Provide inputs to 3D/2D designers and draughtsman for 3D modeling and preparing of Cable Tray Layouts, Lighting layouts, Earthing & lightning protection layouts, Single Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams.

4. Preparation of BOQ / MTO of electrical bulk items.

5. Preparation of Technical bid analysis of various electrical equipment.

6. Preparation of Cable schedules.

7. Vendor drawing review of various electrical equipment (MCC, PCC, Electric Heater Panels, Electrical Heat Tracing, PLC/DCS Panels, Field Panels, Motor Documents,etc)

8. Support BDN/ Proposal teams during bidding/ tender finalization phase.

9. Vendor Development for Cost and Delivery Optimization of E&I Items


Other Responsibilities

1. Ensure interdisciplinary coordination with Process, Piping, Procurement, manufacturing and

communication on projects.

2. Support Instrumentation Engineering activities related to Cables, Cable Trays, Designing for

Modularization Projects

3. Support Manufacturing Activities, resolve Site queries, FAT activities & Punch Point Closure at Praj

Factory

4. Support in Standardization & department development activities


Technical Competencies

1. Knowledge of Lighting calculations using softwares like DIAL LUX, CG LUX, CHALMIT etc.

2. Understanding of Indian and International applicable standards, safety and regulatory requirements.

(NFPA,IS,IEC,OISD etc.)

3. Solution Oriented, Vigilant & shall deliver with High Accuracy with min error

4. Knowledge of hazardous areas.

5. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other electrical software and MS Office Programs.


Knowledge and Skills-

1. Inclination towards Digitalization and having a Digital Mindsets with willingness to Learn, adapt new

technology & trends related to EPC- 4.0 , Industry 4.0,etc
