Job Title:Sr. Security Operations ManagerThis is a key leadership role responsible for the overall security and vigilance across our Bulk Terminal, Coal Handling Plant (CHP), Jetty operations, and associated facilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage security operations across terminal, CHP, and jetty premises to ensure a secure working environment.Maintain 24x7 surveillance through CCTV, access control systems, and regular patrols to prevent theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, and damage to company assets.Implement effective security protocols for entry/exit of vehicles, materials, and personnel to ensure compliance with ISPS Code (if applicable), port security norms, and statutory guidelines.Supervise security teams including guards, supervisors, and contracted security staff to maintain discipline, grooming, training, and performance monitoring of security staff.Plan deployment as per operational needs and conduct regular briefings/drills to ensure readiness in emergency response situations.Maintain accurate incident reports, MIS, daily/weekly/monthly security reports, and ensure implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Lead emergency response for fire, medical emergencies, cargo issues, or security breaches by conducting mock drills, risk assessments, and vulnerability studies.Coordinate with Fire & Safety, Marine, Operations, HSEF, and administration teams to ensure seamless integration of security functions.Liaise with local police, CISF, port authorities, Coast Guard, and district administration to maintain good relations and resolve any security-related issues promptly.Handle legal/security investigations, FIRs, and regulatory inspections with professionalism and integrity.Conduct audits of critical assets, warehouses, coal stockyards, conveyors, and equipment to identify areas for improvement and optimize security measures.Monitor high-risk zones including jetty operations, weighbridges, truck movement, and shift operations to ensure optimal security coverage.Benefits: This role offers excellent career growth opportunities, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
