Programmer Role OverviewThe key role of the programmer is to provide programming support across various projects, clients, and therapeutic areas in the statistics and programming department.The study programmer will be responsible for manipulating large databases and generating reports to enable analysts to explore real-world healthcare data assets.R programming is a preferred skill. SAS is also acceptable.We are open to experience across any therapeutic area.Real World Healthcare claims database experience is required.OMOP-Common data model expertise is beneficial.SQL querying and extracting skills from databases are necessary.Required technical skills include proficiency in R and SQL programming, expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron, COTA, and a good understanding of Oncology specific analyses like Line of Therapy algorithms, Survival analysis, different statistical models.Key responsibilities include leading internal and client study team meetings, presenting study updates internally and at client meetings, sharing knowledge within the team and with colleagues, and contributing to development of training materials and process improvement initiatives.
