About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack engineering and be proficient in both backend and frontend development.Job Description:Full-Stack Engineering: Design, build, and maintain web applications and APIs using modern technologies such as Node.js and React.Backend Services: Implement and maintain RESTful services, handle authentication and authorization, and ensure data consistency and integrity.Frontend Development: Build responsive, accessible UIs using React and Next.js, and design and maintain a frontend SDK that wraps backend APIs.Data Engineering Exposure: Experience integrating with data pipelines or warehouses, consuming tables/views, and working with ETL/ELT outputs.Cloud Infrastructure: Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including app hosting, storage, identity, monitoring, and automation.Requirements and Qualifications:Core Engineering Experience: 5+ years of building and operating web applications or SaaS products as a full-stack or backend engineer.Backend: Strong experience with modern backend stacks such as Node.js/TypeScript, Python/FastAPI/Django, or similar.Frontend (Next.js/React): Proficiency with React and Next.js using TypeScript or JavaScript, including experience building reusable UI components and hooks.Databases & SQL: Proficient in SQL query tuning, indexing, query plans, and good RDBMS fundamentals.Testing Mindset: Habit of writing tests for backend and frontend code, comfortable with fixtures/test data and running tests in CI.Communication: Clear, concise writing and verbal communication, comfortable in async chat and live sessions.Engagement DetailsDuration: 12+ months (extension/full-time possible)Schedule: Flexible, with overlap for key meetings across time zonesCompensation: Competitive, based on experienceMode: Remote; available for virtual collaboration and on-call windows as agreed
