As a Data Engineering Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and managing large databases to support business growth.Responsibilities:Data Architecture and Design: Develop and implement data architectures that meet business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.Database Administration: Administer and manage large databases, particularly on Microsoft platforms such as SQL Server and Azure Database.Complex Query Development: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Data Warehousing and ETL: Implement new databases, data warehouses, data pipelines, and ETL processes for various systems, leveraging technologies like Azure Data Factory.Data Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for database architecture, data flows, and processes.Industry Trends and Technologies: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.Qualifications and Skills:Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on implementing data structures and administering large databases.Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Database: Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Database.Strong Technical Skills: Strong expertise in database design, architecture, administration, and management.Data Warehousing and ETL: Hands-on experience in implementing data warehouses, data pipelines, and ETL processes.Retail Industry: Background in the retail industry is highly preferred.Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal.About VRIZE INC:VRIZE is an equal-opportunity employer.
