Be part of the team responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, ensuring a seamless user experience.Job responsibilitiesTroubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to support business operationsAssist in the improvement of operational stability and availability through participation in problem managementAssist in monitoring production environments for anomalies and address issues using standard observability toolsIdentify and document basic issues and potential solutions for business and technology stakeholdersSupport the management of incidents, problems, and changes in technology applications or infrastructure, and escalate in compliance with firm policy and processesRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills1+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology servicesExperience with an IBM zSeries Mainframe environment Knowledge of JCL, CICS, COBOL, DB2 and VSAM & utilitiesKnowledge of Control-M/CA7 scheduling tools, MQ, NDM/FTPExperience with Unix/Linux/Windows Distributed Application SupportBasic knowledge of application development and its lifecycleExperience in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworkIncident management from triage to root cause resolution.Excellent and proven problem-solving skills and Strong written communication skills and customer facing.Ability to automate and build tools for improved productivityFlexible, co-operative, and resilient with the option to extend coverage if required and will be mostly aligned to India Afternoon shift Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsPrevious exposure to application support Mainframe and/or Unix/Linux/Windows Distributed App SupportExperience doing application development and/or production support in finance domain.  Exposure to one or more general-purpose programming languages or automation scriptingFamiliarity with applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on-premises or in the public cloudAWS cloud experience
