Our solution powers the next generation of data-driven digital health tools for healthcare providers.If you love coding clean, efficient systems that help make sense of human biology, you'll thrive in our fast-paced environment where data meets care.Role OverviewWe're looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing and building scalable backend systems using Python (Django, FastAPI) to develop APIs and interfaces that bring multi-omics intelligence to life.You'll collaborate with fellow developers, product leads, designers, and scientists to deliver high-quality features that ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability across our growing digital health platform.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python (Django, FastAPI).Build and integrate RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js.Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality features.Write reusable, testable, and efficient code focusing on modularity and maintainability.Integrate third-party APIs, services, and data sources.Implement security, authentication, and data protection best practices.Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployments.Document software architecture, processes, and technical decisions.Required Skills:1–3 years of programming experience in Python.Strong expertise in Django (ORM, DRF) and FastAPI.Proficiency in React.js (Hooks, State Management; Redux preferred).Experience building and integrating REST APIs.Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.Experience using Git for version control.Understanding of Docker/containerization and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good communication and collaboration abilities.Nice to Have:Knowledge of GraphQL.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to microservices architecture.Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest, Jest).Basic understanding of DevOps and deployment automation.What We Value:Clean, modular, and maintainable code.Curiosity to learn and work at the intersection of tech, biology, and data.Collaboration across disciplines.Ownership and problem-solving mindset.
