SAP Global Master Data ConsultantAbout the Role:This is a highly sought-after position that requires expertise in master data management to provide critical support to a team of Lead Global Master Data Consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing data for conversion and migration, designing and testing several master data governance systems, and ensuring ongoing data management.Main Responsibilities:Data Preparation for Data Conversion / Migration – moving or extending master data into different systems or organization structuresMaster Data Cleansing and coordination with multiple functional teamsData standardization, harmonization, and requirements localizationSAP S4 Master Data Value Mapping and ConstructionCross-Workstream Data Element Requirements, Design, and Value MappingTest Data CreationData ValidationBug Investigation and SolutioningChange Management and TrainingMaster Data Governance (SAP MDG) and Profisee – tools and processes for creating and maintaining master data records on an ongoing basisLocal Functional Requirements Gathering and DocumentationAlignment of Local Requirements to Global SolutionSupervision of Outsourced Test Script Development and ExecutionCross-Functional Requirements Alignment across Upstream and Downstream PlatformsTest Master Data CreationTesting the MDG Process and ToolBug Investigation and SolutioningChange Management and TrainingCut-OverHypercareProject Task Administration using Various Tools including ADO, TargetProcess, Clarity, Jira, and ExcelUpdate Task Status and Provide Commentary Where RequiredMaintain Documentation primarily involving Data Definition (DD), Field Mapping Design (FMD), and Functional Design (FD)Requirements:BA or BS in Finance, Business Administration, or EquivalentIdeal 5+ years' experience in Master Data Management, preferably within a Consumer Products CompanyUnderstanding of Master Data and Transactional Data Processes, Architecture, Hierarchies, Relationships, and InterdependenciesSAP MDG CRUD Process/Workflow Functional Design and Testing ExperienceData Quality Functional Rule Design and Testing ExperienceFiori UI Functional Design ExperienceTechnical Experience with Data Governance Tools would be beneficial but not mandatoryOperational Experience in Delivering Master Data Standardization, Cleansing, and HarmonizationAble to work independently and self-motivated with Strong Analytical SkillsMust be Hands-on and Detail-Oriented yet able to see the bigger pictureStrong Communication and Influencing Skills with ability to question assumptionsDemonstrated Multicultural Savvy with experience working across Businesses, Functions, Regions, Countries, and CulturesFluent in English – Required (Additional languages preferred)Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
