Microsoft Teams is looking to hire a talented Product Manager II and executor to focus on next-generation collaborative experiences. We are a team with 300M monthly users and big and bold ambitions.Microsoft Teams is a chat-based workspace in Office 365. It is an entirely new experience that brings together conversations, content, and the tools teams need to collaborate and achieve more together. We believe it will transform the way people work and help teams be more open, productive, and fun. We will make the way that people collaborate on documents, tasks, email, and other forms of collaboration. You will reinvent these experiences by working with key partners in Office Clients, OneNote, Planner, SharePoint, and Windows to take advantage of innovations in both software and hardware.Teams AI is a key experience to help users recall content in Teams. This involves improvement of core user experiences as well as relevance of the results by working with multiple stakeholders across Microsoft to make search best in class. Deliver end-to-end product solutions, including competitive research, requirements definition, user experience, and delivery of capabilities. Successfully validate and improve product solutions over time through measurement and experimentation. Manage dependencies across teams to ensure that features land on time with the required scope that is scalable for the diverse user needs and clients.Engage with customers and internal preview users, and triage, prioritize, and address customer feedback for your area. Regularly present new product plans, strategy, demos, competitive reviews, and more to the leadership team. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are very welcome. Strong project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a track record of managing complex projects with many partners. Experience across the entire product lifecycle – from project inception to ship and the know-how required to lead your crew to realize your vision. Strong affinity and experience in user-centered design, UX design and innovating on behalf of the customer is required. Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical Great problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically to define and track success metrics for your areas Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).4+ years of program/product management experience delivering end-user facing products and services.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
