Job Description:The Plant Head is responsible for leading the setup and operation of a state-of-the-art 10 GWh lithium-ion battery pack assembly facility.Key Responsibilities include driving operational excellence, safety, and high-quality output aligned with business objectives.The successful candidate will establish plant layout, equipment selection, automation requirements, and production workflow design to ensure adherence to project timelines, cost objectives, compliance, and quality standards.Collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, Quality, and Technology teams is essential for seamless commissioning and operations.Required Skills and Qualifications:B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.Minimum 18–25 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in Li-ion battery pack manufacturing or advanced energy storage systems.Direct involvement in large-scale manufacturing setup and ramp-up in EV/BESS sectors.Strong expertise in MWh and GWh level production, containerized BESS solutions, and advanced automation systems.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing workforce, establish a strong culture of safety, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and accountability.The successful candidate will be able to enable talent development and succession planning to support rapid business scale-up.
